Our method

About a dozen sites cover this game and not one of them cites its sources. This page is how you check ours: where our information comes from, how we separate what is confirmed from what is only reported, and what we refuse to publish at all.

Where our information comes from

The publisher first: NCSOFT's press releases, its official game data, its store page and its official broadcasts. We name the source and the date we read it, on the page where the claim appears rather than on a credits page nobody opens. When we rely on the specialist press or on a creator, we say so and attribute it by name, because the strength of a claim depends on who is making it.

How we separate what is confirmed from what is reported

Three levels and no others. A claim established by the publisher is confirmed and carries its dated source. A claim reported by a named outlet but not confirmed by the publisher is marked as reported. A claim that is neither is marked as not confirmed, with the date at which nothing had been announced. We never present a reported claim as a confirmed one, and we do not add a fourth level to cover an awkward case: if a claim does not fit these three, it does not go on the page.

Confirmed

Established by the publisher, in its own words, and carrying the dated source it came from.

Reported

Reported by a named outlet, not confirmed by the publisher. Attributed to that outlet, never presented as settled.

Not confirmed

Neither. Marked as such, with the date at which nothing had been announced.

The part other sites do not tell you

AION 2 has been live in Korea and Taiwan since 19 November 2025. The Western release opens on 30 September 2026. A great deal of what can be documented today comes from a service you cannot yet play. Whenever that is the case, the page says so at the top — because a guide that is accurate but inapplicable is as damaging as a false one. 43 of our 71 published pages carry that warning today, which is why it is a normal part of the template rather than an exception bolted on.

This content is live on the Korean and Taiwanese service. It is not yet available in the Western release.

04

Every page carries the date it was checked

Information that is right today can be wrong after the next update. The date a page was last checked is shown on the page itself, not buried in the markup. We write it in full, and never as a relative date — a relative date stops being useful the moment it is read out of context, while an absolute one is a claim you can hold us to.

05

What we do not publish

No leaks, no datamined material, no anonymous rumours. Not out of caution, but because our only real difference from a dozen competing sites is being the one you can check — and material taken out of the client cannot be checked by a reader, however accurate it turns out to be. The same rule closes the door on figures nobody has published: no tier list, no difficulty rating, no average clear time.
