What it is

Citadel of the Fallen Daeva is an Expedition dungeon added to the Korean service on 6 July 2026, and its entry conditions are published — which is rare enough to make this page useful. NCSOFT states: "The new Expedition dungeon Citadel of the Fallen Daeva and Transcendence dungeon Abyssal Horn Den have been unveiled. Both require level 50 and a minimum item level of 3,500, with higher difficulties requiring progressively higher item levels." Two gates, not one: character level and equipment. It has not been announced for the Western release.

What changed, and when

This dungeon arrived on the Korean service with the update NCSOFT titled "Chapter 1. Lands of Sand and Snow", on 6 July 2026 (official NCSOFT announcement, same date), unveiled together with the Transcendence dungeon Abyssal Horn Den. The same announcement changed how such dungeons are run in two ways: "Party sizes have also been expanded, increasing to five players for Expedition and Transcendence dungeons", and entry tickets were removed — "Tickets previously required to enter Expedition and Transcendence dungeons have been removed, with rewards now obtainable through Odyle Energy." Both changes apply directly to this dungeon.

03

What is actually published

The published entry conditions are the whole of the advanced planning available, and they are specific: level 50 and a minimum item level of 3,500, "with higher difficulties requiring progressively higher item levels" (official NCSOFT announcement, 6 July 2026). That last clause means the item level requirement is a scale, not a single threshold — clearing the entry difficulty does not mean the next one is open. Two further facts from the same announcement shape a run: party size is five players for Expedition dungeons, and rewards now run through Odyle Energy rather than entry tickets. NCSOFT has published no boss mechanics and no reward contents, so this page describes none.

What we cannot tell you yet

Before anything else: this dungeon is not confirmed for the Western release. It was added to the Korean service on 6 July 2026, and NCSOFT has published nothing about its presence at the Western launch of 30 September 2026. Read what follows as a description of the Korean service as observed on that date. The entry condition people miss is the second one. Level 50 is the obvious gate; the minimum item level of 3,500 is the one that stops a character who has levelled without equipping, and the announcement adds that higher difficulties require "progressively higher item levels". Where you will block, mechanically, cannot be stated: NCSOFT has published no boss mechanics for this dungeon, and this site does not repeat encounter guides it cannot source.
