What it is

Sunken Temple of Life is a Transcendence dungeon on the Korean service, and it carries a naming trap worth knowing before you search for it. NCSOFT’s Season 2 roadmap of 7 January 2026 announced it as "Submerged Life Temple", "featuring difficulty levels from Stage 1 to Stage 10". The release that actually delivered it, on 23 February 2026, calls it "the Transcendence dungeon Sunken Temple of Life". Same dungeon, two official names — and guides written from the roadmap use the one the publisher dropped. It has not been announced for the Western release.

What changed, and when

This dungeon was announced under one name and delivered under another. The Season 2 roadmap of 7 January 2026 planned "New Transcendence content, Submerged Life Temple, will become available, featuring difficulty levels from Stage 1 to Stage 10". It arrived on 23 February 2026, in the release marking 100 days since launch, where NCSOFT writes: "The latest update features the Transcendence dungeon Sunken Temple of Life, the new Arcana part Scales, two new Arcana set effects". The delivery is therefore confirmed, not merely planned — which is not the case for most of the Season 2 roadmap content. This site uses the delivery name.

What is actually published

Two dated facts frame this dungeon. The roadmap of 7 January 2026 gives its shape — difficulty levels from Stage 1 to Stage 10, so it is content designed to be climbed rather than cleared once. The delivery release of 23 February 2026 ties it to the Arcana system: it launched "with the Arcana part Scales and set effects". And note what is NOT established: NCSOFT published a cumulative reward rule for the solo dungeon Nightmare — "Clearing a specific stage grants the combined rewards of all preceding stages" — and said nothing of the kind here. This page does not transfer that rule across. Party size for Transcendence dungeons became five players on 6 July 2026, and entry tickets were removed in favour of Odyle Energy.

What we cannot tell you yet

Before anything else: this dungeon is not confirmed for the Western release. It arrived on the Korean service on 23 February 2026, and NCSOFT has published nothing about its presence at the Western launch of 30 September 2026. The first thing to get right is the name. If you search for "Submerged Life Temple" you will find material written from the January roadmap; the publisher has used "Sunken Temple of Life" since delivery. It is one dungeon. The second mistake is assuming ten stages behave like the ten layers of a solo dungeon: NCSOFT published a cumulative reward rule for Nightmare and no such rule here, so do not count on a high clear paying for the stages below it.
