The Western release opens on 30 September 2026. NCSOFT has not stated which Korean content will be present at that launch.
Hall of Illusion
© NC Corporation. All Rights Reserved. What it is
Hall of Illusion is Expedition content on the Korean service, and what NCSOFT published about it is its rank rather than its contents. The announcement of 13 May 2026 places it in "Tier 5 Expedition content", one step above the tier containing Dying Dramata’s Nest — which is the only public statement this site has found ordering Expedition dungeons against one another. The name returns from the original AION, where Hall of Illusion was a well-known instance. It has not been announced for the Western release.
What changed, and when
Hall of Illusion appears in the official record on 13 May 2026, in the announcement that raised Kina rewards: "Kina rewards have also been enhanced for Tier 4 Expedition content, including Dying Dramata’s nest, and Tier 5 Expedition content, including Hall of Illusion." Two limits are worth stating. The dungeon is named in passing, in a sentence about rewards — NCSOFT has published no dedicated announcement for it, and no date of introduction this site has been able to find. And the name is carried over from the original AION, which means guides written for that game will look relevant and are not.
What is actually published
The single useful published fact is the tier: this is Tier 5 Expedition content, where Dying Dramata’s Nest is Tier 4 (official NCSOFT announcement, 13 May 2026). That is the only public ordering of Expedition dungeons this site has found, and it is more actionable than it looks — it tells you which content sits above which, without needing a community tier list. Beyond that, nothing: no entry item level, no boss, no reward table, no introduction date. The same announcement doubled the weekly reward count for Expedition content from 7 to 14.
What we cannot tell you yet
Before anything else: this dungeon is not confirmed for the Western release, and it carries a second warning specific to it. NCSOFT has never given it a dedicated announcement — it is named once, inside a sentence about reward adjustments. So what this page can tell you is deliberately thin, and any guide that tells you more is not working from a published source. The name trap matters here too: Hall of Illusion existed in the original AION, and material written for that game describes different content. What is established: it is Tier 5 Expedition content, one tier above Dying Dramata’s Nest.
