Cradle of Nihility

Cradle of Nihility is the second Expedition dungeon of AION 2’s Season 2 plan for the Korean service. NCSOFT’s roadmap of 7 January 2026 states that "Additional Expedition dungeon Cradle of Nihility will follow", scheduled for 28 January 2026 — a week after Dying Dramata’s Nest. Hard difficulty for both was scheduled for 18 February 2026. The word "additional" places it as a companion to the first rather than as a step up. It has not been announced for the Western release.

Cradle of Nihility was announced in NCSOFT’s Season 2 roadmap, published on 7 January 2026 under the title "AION 2 Unveils Season 2 Roadmap for 2026", with an introduction date of 28 January 2026 and Hard difficulty on 18 February 2026, added together with Dying Dramata’s Nest. The same limit applies here as to every page sourced from that roadmap: it is a plan written in the future tense, and this site has not found a later dated NCSOFT source confirming delivery. What is confirmed is the announcement and its schedule, not the state of the dungeon today.

The roadmap pairs this dungeon with Dying Dramata’s Nest throughout: they were introduced a week apart and received Hard difficulty on the same date, 18 February 2026 (official NCSOFT roadmap, 7 January 2026). That pairing is the only structural relationship the published record establishes between them. From a later announcement, two facts apply to Expedition dungeons in general: on 6 July 2026 party sizes became five players for Expedition and Transcendence dungeons, and entry tickets were removed with rewards moving to Odyle Energy. No boss mechanics, item level requirement or reward contents have been published for this dungeon.

Before anything else: this dungeon is not confirmed for the Western release, and its source is a roadmap dated 7 January 2026 written in the future tense — a plan for the Korean service, whose delivery this site has not verified against a later dated source. The misconception worth clearing is that "additional" means harder. NCSOFT’s wording places Cradle of Nihility beside Dying Dramata’s Nest rather than above it, and the two received Hard difficulty on the same day. So do not assume an order between them on the basis of their release dates. Where you will block cannot be stated: no boss mechanics have been published, and this site does not repeat encounter guides it cannot source.
