This content is live on the Korean and Taiwanese service. It is not yet available in the Western release.
The Western release opens on 30 September 2026. NCSOFT has not stated which Korean content will be present at that launch.
Odyle Energy
© NC Corporation. All Rights Reserved. How it works
Odyle Energy replaced a barrier that most MMORPG players will recognise. On the Korean service, in the update of 6 July 2026, NCSOFT states that "Tickets previously required to enter Expedition and Transcendence dungeons have been removed, with rewards now obtainable through Odyle Energy." Entry tickets gate how often you can run a dungeon; this change moves the limit from entry to reward. It is a meaningful difference for anyone who plans their week around dungeon lockouts. It has not been announced for the Western release.
What changed, and when
Until 6 July 2026 the Korean service required tickets to enter Expedition and Transcendence dungeons. The update NCSOFT titled "Chapter 1. Lands of Sand and Snow" removed them, and the publisher’s wording is precise about what replaced what: tickets "have been removed, with rewards now obtainable through Odyle Energy" (official NCSOFT announcement, 6 July 2026). The distinction matters and is easy to lose: what was removed was the requirement to enter. What Odyle Energy governs is the rewards. NCSOFT has not published how Odyle Energy accumulates, what caps it, or how much a dungeon consumes.
The detail that changes how you play
The advanced consequence follows directly from the wording. Since entry is no longer gated but rewards run through Odyle Energy (official NCSOFT announcement, 6 July 2026), running a dungeon and being paid for running it are now two different questions — which is the kind of change that alters how a week is planned rather than how a fight is played. NCSOFT has published no accumulation rate, no ceiling and no per-dungeon cost, so this page gives no schedule. Anyone offering you an optimal Odyle Energy routine today is working from play reports on the Korean service, not from published figures.
The common misconception
Before anything else: this system is not confirmed for the Western release. It was announced for the Korean service on 6 July 2026, and NCSOFT has published nothing about its presence at the Western launch of 30 September 2026. Read what follows as a description of the Korean service as observed on that date. The misconception to avoid is reading "tickets have been removed" as "the limit is gone". The publisher says the limit moved: entry is free, and rewards now run through Odyle Energy. What it costs you is therefore a resource whose rate NCSOFT has not published — so treat any claim about how many rewarded runs a day allows as unverified.
