September account restrictions — five waves through 16 September
Generated illustrationWhat was announced
NCSOFT published six Korean-service notices on 10, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 September 2026. The 10 September notice reports action against organised account-piloting around Snowfield of Sorrow: 11 characters belonging to commercial piloting organisations were permanently restricted, while 9 commissioned characters were restricted for 30 days; all lost eligibility for the related first-clear event. The 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 September notices report 4,211, 3,276, 1,384, 4,216 and 4,317 account restrictions in their own waves. These are first-hand Korean-service records, not Western policy or proof of a Western enforcement rule.
Where it sits in the record
The 15 September 2026 first-hand notice is https://aion2.plaync.com/ko-kr/board/notice/view?articleId=6aa8a4486b722c561dc6a532. It records a restriction time of 10:50 KST and 4,216 restricted accounts for workshop and unauthorised-program policy violations, and gives a route to request a review. The 16 September first-hand notice is https://aion2.plaync.com/ko-kr/board/notice/view?articleId=6aaa3f9cd97eae18cc40dfc0 and reports 4,317 restricted accounts in the next Korean-service wave. The notices do not publish a Western policy, a detection rate or a future timetable. The 10 September notice records 11 permanent and 9 thirty-day restrictions linked to commercial account-piloting; the 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 September notices report 4,211, 3,276, 1,384, 4,216 and 4,317 restrictions in separate waves.
What it actually changed
If you play on the Korean service, the 15 and 16 September waves confirm that account restrictions continue to be published as dated administrative notices and that a review route exists for mistaken restrictions or temporary protection. They do not publish a new combat mechanic, a ban rule for the Western PC service, a detection rate or a timetable for future enforcement. For Western readers, this page remains a dated record of Korean-service enforcement, not a promise about the September 30 early access or the October 5 free launch.
What to be careful with
This page keeps three boundaries visible. First, the 10, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 September notices are separate Korean-service waves, not one cumulative number and not a Western policy. Second, the administrative restriction notices do not establish a detection rate, a future timetable or the rules of the Western PC service. Third, account-piloting sanctions and ordinary policy restrictions are reported as different notices. No publisher quotation is translated, no Western date is invented, and no conclusion is drawn for a service outside this scope.
