What was announced

On 1 September 2026 at 21:30 KST, the official Korean AION2 update note set out the content planned for 2 September. Its centrepiece is the new event written in Korean as 시공의 균열 쟁탈전; this page uses Spacetime Rift Conquest as an editorial gloss, not as an official English title. The event runs in Verteron and Altgard on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 20:00 KST and 23:00 KST. Entry requires level 50, item level 4,500, combat power 500.0k and the Verteron and Altgard garrison-sweep VI achievements. One event key opens registration, while three keys recharge each week. The notice describes 60–200 participants per faction, a ten-minute entry window and a 25-minute battle.

Where it sits in the record

This note is separate from the Korean notices dated 3 September. The later class-care notice dealt with completed maintenance, planned class adjustments and a future Sanctuary; the known-issues notice dealt with operational faults and a chat workaround. The 1 September note instead defines a new competitive event, its entry gates and its reward loop, then lists class and Abyss changes for the 2 September update. It says the event uses five garrisons, asks each side to destroy three Monoliths and awards the win to the side controlling at least three garrisons. It also raises Watcher Kaira’s spawn chance in the Abyss from 20% to 100% on a four-hour cycle beginning at 00:00 KST. Nothing here establishes a Western schedule or delivery.

03

What it actually changed

For a Korean-service player, the useful preparation is concrete. Check the level, item-level, combat-power and two achievement gates before planning a roster. Keep one event key available for registration and remember that a key is consumed when rewards are claimed; the notice says three keys recharge weekly. Expect a faction group rather than a solo queue: the stated scale is 60–200 players on each side. The portal opens after five minutes, entry remains possible for ten minutes and the battle runs for 25 minutes. During the event, other content is unavailable. The same note is a class-build checkpoint: Guardian, Templar and Chanter receive several changes, while Gladiator fixes address passive effects. Treat every exact skill value as Korean-service data until a later notice supersedes it.

04

What to be careful with

Three readings would be unsafe. First, the Korean schedule is not a Western calendar: every time above carries KST, and the note does not announce an equivalent service outside Korea. Second, the Korean event name is not silently converted into an official English title; Spacetime Rift Conquest is only this page’s explanatory gloss. Third, a planned 2 September update is not proof that every listed change is live in every environment. This page therefore keeps the event rules, the class adjustments and the Abyss change in the source’s service context. It does not translate a publisher quotation, does not claim a Western release date and does not turn the notice’s future-facing wording into a permanent promise.
